Here is your December Masterclass all about remote recording, hosted by our Studio and Production Manager Amber Miller.
If you are one for recording in studios but during the festive period you want to record but are currently in the middle of know where, why not do it remotely?!
Remote recording a podcast is a handy way to first kick off your podcasting journey and to experiment what it is you want to record. It is also a great way to record an interview with someone who is on the other side of the world from the comfort of your own home. But most importantly it is a brilliant way for those who can’t leave their home, to still be able to record a podcast or be interviewed.
However, we would always suggest (if you can) to record your podcast in a treated studio. The quality is usually always better and you can’t beat having a one to one recording with someone in the room. So if you are interested in recording with us, please check out our membership packages on our website or give Amber an email at amber@contentisqueen.org. Â
But with that in mind, Amber is going to share all the tips and tricks to recording a professional sounding podcast remotely.
Amber goes through…
- The different remote recording platforms there are online for you to use, specifically zoom.
- How to soundproof your room and the different usb mics that you can get that specifically plug into your laptop.
- And how to prepare your guest as well as the instructions you need to send them, so you get a great quality recording on their end too.
All of this and a lot more, so be sure to watch the video down below now!!

Well you have come to the right place, as Maeve breaks the process down step by step to help you along your investigative journey.
Maeve goes into much detail about..

Your April Masterclass is here and it’s all about Social Media Podcast Marketing!
Social media marketing is one of the best ways to market your podcast online. Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok have made reaching your audience easier than ever.
We have social media wizard Brian Hollingsworth with us to guide you through the workings of social media marketing and will help you strategise and create content that will be key in growing your audience
Social media can be a massive asset to your podcast and the key is consistency. Unlike many other mediums, social media is 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you make an effort to get out there and participate but are not consistent over time you can still give the impression of not being present which can actually work against you. The biggest rule to always follow in content creation – do something every day – even if it’s just for five or ten minutes – keep at it! It all adds up.
Brian will give you some great advice on:
- Choosing which social media platform is the best for you and your podcast.
- The importance of interacting with your audience and creating a community.
- What content to create to help promote your podcast.
- And so much more!!
As well as all this, Brian has gathered he’s top tips and tricks to promoting on social media, to make the seemingly daunting task as easy as pie!
So without further ado, please enjoy Brians Masterclass below:
