Mary Otumahan is the founder of RecordShop – a social enterprise which aims to make music opportunities accessible to those aged 16 – 25. It runs four 10-week projects each year where participants learn to create music, attend music workshops and events and secure work placements. She has received a number of awards for her work including Young Social Entrepreneur Of The Year (2019) and People Powered Culture and New Entrepreneur Mind Of The Year (2017). Growing up, Mary identified that there were not enough opportunities available for young music artists to grow and develop, so she was determined to create a platform to change that.
