Lauren Currie OBE is the Co-Founder and CEO of Stride; on a mission to democratise leadership development and the Founder of UPFRONT; on a mission to change confidence. She’s a Trustee at the Design Council and Pregnant Then Screwed. In 2017, she was awarded an OBE for her services to design and diversity. She is an acclaimed keynote speaker and travels the world talking about social change, entrepreneurship, culture and more. Lauren has been recognised as a pioneer in business by Management Today, Elle Magazine and Creative Review.

In episode 104, Lauren shares where her love of design came from and how following that path led her to starting her own service design agency. She also shares how she turned her frustration into action and created Upfront to directly tackle the lack of women on stage at design conferences and seminars. Later, the two discuss balancing a heavy workload with motherhood.
