Today’s guest is writer, stylist and consultant Aja Barber whose work deals with the intersections of sustainability and the fashion landscape. Aja has amassed a platform of over 200k Instagram followers who look to her for insights, education and knowledge on what’s happening in the world of sustainable fashion and consumerism. Aja’s work builds heavily on ideas behind privilege, wealth inequality, racism, feminism, colonialism and how to fix the fashion industry with all these things in mind.  

In today’s interview, Aja shares what it’s really like to grow your platform and the pitfalls that come with sudden growth. Aja reveals what it takes to take down fast fashion and what you need to do to be on the right side of history. We also get into the intersections of fast fashion, colonialism, climate change and consumerism.
