Content is Queen Social Media Giveaway Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before entering. Entering constitutes an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The promoter of this giveaway is Content is Queen Ltd (registered company no. 12143343). Correspondence address: Content is Queen, Makerversity, Somerset House, Strand, WC2R 1LA

The giveaway is open to any resident of the United Kingdom over 18 years of age. The giveaway is closed to employees of Content is Queen. Entries from and nominations for registered businesses, organisations, enterprises, or companies are not eligible. Existing Content is Queen studio members, close relatives of Content is Queen employees and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation is able to nominate but is not eligible to win the prize. Automated or bulk entries from third parties will be disqualified. We reserve the right to exclude entrants who have entered more than 4 competitions in the last month. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter. 

Entry closes at 12:00 noon Wednesday 11 August 2021 British Summer Time.

The giveaway will run on the @contentisqueenhq Instagram account and entrants can enter at any point up until this date. 

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.

How to enter

To enter the entrants need to follow @contentisqueenhq on Instagram, like the giveaway post and @mention the person/independent podcaster or podcast they want to nominate in the comments on the giveaway post. Entrants can only nominate each person/podcaster once, but can enter and nominate as many times as they like.

The winning entry will be selected at random and the winner and their nominated person or podcast tagged will be notified via DM within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The giveaway prize is a free 6-month Studio Membership as set out on the website contentisqueen.org/product/record/ and Terms available at contentisqueen.org/membership-agreement/ which are subject to change. The Studio Membership must be activated within 3 months of the closing date of the giveaway and is valid for 6 months from the activation date. The prize is as stated and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services. Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted by the winner. Studio Membership details will be emailed within 14 days of the winner contacting us to claim their prize via DM and notifying us of their email address. 

In entering the giveaway, you consent to your first name, photograph and social media handle being disclosed on Content is Queen Ltd digital channels or other media if you win any Prizes under the competition. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with UK data regulations and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. By entering you agree that Content is Queen Ltd may contact you in relation to the giveaway.

Copyright of any material produced as part of the giveaway is owned by Content is Queen Ltd and/or its content suppliers. Unauthorised use of the material produced as part of this giveaway, including reproduction, storage, modification, distribution or publication without the prior written consent of Content is Queen Ltd or, where applicable, the respective entrant is prohibited.

Content is Queen Ltd do not accept liability for any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or any damages whatsoever arising out of, or in connection with the contest. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, Content is Queen Ltd and its associated companies and agents and distributors exclude responsibility and all liabilities, whether direct or indirect, arising from: any postponement or cancellation of the contest; any changes to, supply of or use of the Prize; and any act or default of any supplier, which are beyond Content is Queen Ltd reasonable control. Content is Queen Ltd does not accept responsibility for any liability arising from technical incompatibility, problems relating to the internet, or technical difficulties of any kind and no responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. Content is Queen Ltd shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of use, loss or corruption of data or information, or any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses. You agree to indemnify Content is Queen Ltd against all liabilities, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of your agreement with Content is Queen Ltd.

 Content is Queen Ltd reserve the right to change the contest rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on the Website and in the case of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those on the Website, the Website terms and conditions will apply. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising here shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
