It’s a NEW YEAR so here is our NEW masterclass which is a beginners guide to editing with Audacity, hosted by the wonderful podcast editor George Ofori- Addo.
Now, editing your podcast can seem like a very daunting task, the software can look quite complicated and the jargon can seem overwhelming. But once you have conquered the first few tools and effects, there will be no turning back and your podcast will sound elevated and brilliant!
George aka Adders with help from Guest Rosie Mcleod, takes you through all you need to know about editing your podcast on a software called Audacity. We chose Audacity as it is free, very accessible and a great place to start when experimenting and learning how to edit. Podcasters like you, from all different backgrounds whether beginners or pros use Audacity to make their podcast sound professional and appealing to their listeners.

Here is your December Masterclass all about remote recording, hosted by our Studio and Production Manager Amber Miller.
If you are one for recording in studios but during the festive period you want to record but are currently in the middle of know where, why not do it remotely?!
Remote recording a podcast is a handy way to first kick off your podcasting journey and to experiment what it is you want to record. It is also a great way to record an interview with someone who is on the other side of the world from the comfort of your own home. But most importantly it is a brilliant way for those who can’t leave their home, to still be able to record a podcast or be interviewed.
However, we would always suggest (if you can) to record your podcast in a treated studio. The quality is usually always better and you can’t beat having a one to one recording with someone in the room.
