Employee Code of Conduct Policy

This policy applies to all employees of Content is Queen, regardless of their position or tenure, including full-time, part-time, contractual, and freelance staff.

3. Compliance with Laws, Rules, and Regulations
All employees must conduct their duties in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations governing the operation of Content is Queen in the United Kingdom. Ignorance of the law does not excuse misconduct or noncompliance.

4. Professional Behaviour

  • Integrity and Honesty: Employees must conduct their business affairs with integrity and honesty, make responsible decisions, and ensure fairness in all activities.
  • Respect and Fairness: Treat colleagues, clients, and partners fairly. Harassment, discrimination, or any other behaviour that compromises the dignity of others is strictly prohibited.
  • Conflict of Interest: Employees must avoid any personal, financial, or other interests that might hinder their capability or willingness to perform their job duties.

5. Confidentiality
Employees are required to safeguard and not disclose company confidential information and proprietary data to third parties, unless disclosure is authorised or legally mandated.

6. Protection and Proper Use of Company Assets
Company assets, including time, material, equipment, and intellectual property, should be used for legitimate business purposes and should be protected from theft, damage, and misuse.

7. Reporting Violations
Employees should report any unethical behaviour or violations of this Code of Conduct to their immediate supervisor, HR, or through the company’s whistleblowing channel. The company assures that no one will suffer any consequence or retaliation for reporting in good faith.

8. Enforcement and Penalties
Violations of the Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action, which may include reprimand, suspension, or termination of employment. Severe breaches could also result in legal action.

9. Amendments
This policy may be amended at any time, and employees will be notified accordingly.

10. Acknowledgement
All employees must sign a statement affirming they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the Code of Conduct. This acknowledgement should be filed in their personnel records.
